Concept

2016 we took part in a cooperative planning process by the city of Innsbruck in order to allocate a dense settlement area (with a focus on living, green spaces and other infrastructure facilities) in a vacated construction site in a district that was mainly developed in the 1960s.

The interest in this process persisted on the one hand because I was born in Innsbruck and completed school an university study there, and on the other hand I focused on housing construction in 2016 - also as part of a teaching assignment at the TU Vienna.

Cooperative processes are “learning” processes in which a dialogical urban development arises through interdisciplinarity, exchange of different access methods, involvement of interest groups and transparent processes, which an office would not be able to manage on its own.
It is precisely the focus of work that our office has been working as a team / in national and international cooperation for quite some time.
